APA Summit on National Assessment of Psychology

A three-day invitational summit of assessment experts convened to build an archive of assessment resources.

June 21-25, 2016
University of Wisconsin-Green Bay

APA’s Committee on Associate and Baccalaureate Education (CABE) is excited to welcome undergraduate educators who have an interest and background in assessment to the APA Summit on National Assessment of Psychology (APA SNAP). The summit will begin the much needed process of developing digital and/or print resources necessary to assess psychology programs at the associate and baccalaureate level utilizing the APA Guidelines for the Undergraduate Psychology Major (Version 2.0) (PDF, 447KB).

The objectives of the summit are to:

  • Share best practices and innovations in educational assessment as aligned with the APA Guidelines for the Undergraduate Psychology Major: Version 2.0.
  • Develop evidence-based tools for assessment of student learning outcomes at the course and/or program level.

To accomplish these tasks, APA SNAP participants will share their expertise with one another to formulate optimal assessment strategies for undergraduate education in psychology.

CABE is thankful to those who have expressed an interest in participating in the summit and to those organizations that are supporting this important conference through sponsorship and grants.
