The Departmental Associate for Psychology is responsible for preparing, organizing,
and teaching Introductory Psychology classes and laboratories. This position will also
provide assistance for students as needed, evaluate and grade laboratory reports,
supervise student laboratory teaching assistants, and assist faculty with other aspects
of course management and research as needed. In addition, the Departmental
Associate will support our upper division statistics course and provide analytic
consultation for student thesis research. This person reports to the faculty chair of the
Psychology department. Reed is committed to excellence and actively seeks diversity in

This is a full-time 12-month exempt position, working 37.5 hours a week. The salary
range for this position is $58,000 – $60,000 with exceptional benefits. The expected start
date is January 2018.
