One award will be granted for work relating to each of the following levels: (a) K-12 education, (b) undergraduate education, and (c) graduate and postdoctoral education and training.
No more than three (3) single spaced pages should be submitted to describe the following:
a. Description: Identify and briefly describe the program feature and its interdisciplinary training objectives;
b. Timeline and Personnel: Describe when this feature was instituted, key people in its development, and its current status;
c. Outcomes: State any outcomes achieved, including how they were measured or otherwise assessed in relation to the objective to advance education and training in interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary or interprofessional teaching, research or practice.
Any psychology program or department may self-nominate or be nominated by others for recognition of its exemplars in education and training for interdisciplinary teaching, research or practice. The panel judging the nominations and making recommendations to the Board of Educational Affairs will be appointed by BEA. The award, and a description of the educational unit and exemplary practice, will be published in the APA Monitor. There is a possibility that more than one awardee at each level may be recognized (in which case the stipend will be divided among the awardees).
