2011 WPA Convention
The 2011 WPA Convention will be in Los Angeles from April 28 to May 1, 2011 at the Wilshire Grand. The Terman Teaching Conference will be held on April 27, from 9am to 5pm. The hotel is very close to the LA Live Entertainment Complex, Disney Hall, and other downtown attractions. It is next to a metro station to take you to Union Station, Hollywood, and Universal City. Registration for the Cancun Convention
It is time to plan for the 2010 WPA convention in Cancun. Early registration is open until March 15 on the WPA website at www.westernpsych.org. The convention dates are April 22 -25 with the Terman Teaching Conference on April 21. We urge you to pre-register to avoid lines in Cancun.
All WPA events will be held at the Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun. We have an excellent hotel room rate – please register by March 15. A link from the WPA website will take you to the hotel registration page, which will automatically provide the WPA hotel rate(s).
The WPA website also has information on transportation from the Cancun airport to the hotel via a shuttle service or taxi. A Cancun travel service has set up a WPA site for reserving airport transportation and tours for WPA attendees.
The complete program should be on the website by March 10.
