2014 WPA Convention
The 2014 WPA Convention will be at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront in Portland, Oregon. WPA runs from the morning of Thursday, April 24 to about noon on Sunday, April 27. The Terman Teaching Conference will be held on April 23 from 9am to 5pm. The convention is hosted by Western Oregon University. The hotel is close to all the attractions of downtown Portland including shopping (no sales tax!), museums, music and entertainment, restaurants and food trucks and pubs, and the world famous Voodoo Doughnut. Cuesta College, a community college in San Luis Obispo, CA, invites applications
for a full-time, tenure track position in psychology. Required minimum
qualifications include a Master’s degree in psychology, or Bachelor’s in
psychology and Master’s in counseling, sociology, statistics, neuroscience, or
social work, or the equivalent. Desirable qualifications include strong interest
in undergraduate education that serves a diverse student population, a wide
range of teaching experience in the discipline, and experience in
curriculum development and distance education. The Psychology Program offers
lower-division courses in introductory, biological, personality and social
psychology. The teaching load is five courses per semester with additional
