“Stanford Prison Experiment” feature film debuts at Sundance

A new film depicting the Stanford Prison Experiment debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in January. Dr. Phil Zimbardo served as consultant on the film. The film received the Alfred P. Sloan film prize given to films with outstanding scientific content. A recent article in the Stanford Daily provides an overview of the original SPE and reactions on the Stanford campus. Dr. Zimbardo is scheduled to present on May 2 at the upcoming WPA convention in Las Vegas.
