Visiting Position in Developmental Psychology
The Evergreen State College invites applications for a full-time visiting position in developmental psychology to co-teach in the program, Student-Originated Studies: Psychology. Candidates should be broadly trained in psychology and able to teach lifespan human development. . Other areas of teaching may include introductory psychology, abnormal psychology, theories of personality, psychological research methods, or others areas of psychology at the undergraduate level. The successful candidate will be a reflective teacher who has a clear capacity to make interdisciplinary connections.
PsyD or PhD in psychology or closely related field from an accredited university (ABD will be considered);
- Capacity to make interdisciplinary connections; and
- Evidence of, or potential for, excellence in teaching.
College level teaching experience;
- Demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing social justice and equity;
- Experience in working with diverse and underrepresented populations; and
- Ability to work collaboratively in faculty teams.
